Description
This is a very rare set of Theater Lobby Spot recordings for the 1960 Paramount Pictures film "Psycho".
The set is three discs, five sides (one disc is one-sided) of Alfred Hitchcock's voice explaining how the audience should view the movie Psycho. Quite entertaining. The discs were meant to be broadcast in the theater lobby or outside the entrance to advertise the upcoming movie.
The discs are vinyl, 10", 78 rpm.
Very rare and very collectable.
They play fine. The discs could use a light cleaning.
I have several of this type of record (movie promotion recordings) from 1956 through 1962 for sale right now.
