Description
This is the original, first mono pressing on Blue Note (BLP 1510). Full 767 Lexington Ave NYC adress on labels. Matrix dead wax reads RVG, ear (symbol), 9M. Matrix numbers: BN-LP-1510-A / BN-LP-1510-B. Cover and record show wear. I've tried to take the best pictures to represent the wear. Cover has long seam split on bottom; other seams are intact and evince some wear. Vinyl has a scuff (pictured) over B1 and B2 that does not significantly affect play. Surface noise can occasionally be heard. Overall, a nice playable copy of this monumental album from 1956, especially give its age.
