Description
Mega Rare LP of Thelonious Monk - Monk's Music (Riverside 12-242 - mono) 1950s Blue label edition with reel and mic logos, deep groove and Bill Grauer Productions, Inc New York City on both sides. Legendary session featuring Monk along with John Coltrane, Wilbur Ware, Art Blakey, Coleman Hawkins, Gigi Gryce and others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+/VG++ condition with some light marks that may make a bit of noise and with much if not most (or all) of the original shine - pretty darned good for one of these, but still - you may hear some noise on this one. The cover is in solid VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. A strong copy of a rare classic.
