Description
-- So I had a plumbing emergency -- hence my beloved LP is for sale. This is the real deal, and a beautiful copy of it. The record itself has only some paper scuffing, and it plays beautifully. The album cover still has beautiful lamination, and it's only real flaw is on the bottom seam, there is about 2" of weak seam, but there is NO SPLITTING.
***A bit on my grading: First off, I never ascribe any LP as "mint" or "near mint." The terms are useless to me, and I find most people can't even agree on what that means. SO, my highest grade is VG++. Even if an LP is sealed, I call it VG++.
*** In addition to the letter grade, I ascribe a 1-10 numerical value meant to describe sound quality and visuals put together. Even if something is sealed, and it gets a 10, I still rate it VG++.
SO HERE'S WHAT I GOT TO OFFER:
ALBUM: VG++ (8.5 of 10): This thing has no issues other than some paper scuffing. RVG hand etched in the runout. The album plays beautifully, and the gloss is still holding strong. No pressing imperfections either.
COVER: VG++ (8.5 of 10): Only reason this won't score higher is a weak seam (NOT splitting, just weak). It's on the bottom seam, in the middle for about 2". Other than that, there is some light bumps on corners, but it still has a very beautiful gloss, no peeling, and is holding up VERY nicely for such an old LP.
NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: In the US, I ship all my LPs for $4. This covers plastic holders, cardboard, tape markers, etc. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: It goes by weight. Check the calculator before bidding!! Shipping is VERY expensive overseas, so please check ahead of time.
NOTE ABOUT MY SYSTEM: These records are from my personal collection. They are all taken care of, stored properly, and played on a Thorens TD160 with a Denon 103 cartridge. Bid knowing that you're buying from a fellow collector, and I try to be as honest about the product as possible. All my records start at $4.99, and usually they go for market price. I'll list records from time to time, but I'm not a dealer.
