Description

This is the original 10” deep groove “P”-pressing of Thelonious Monk “Genius of Modern Music, Volume 2” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 5009.  The playing surface has several inaudible scuffs but a beautiful luster; however, there is light intermittent surface noise throughout.  The coated frame cover is clean with light shelf wear on the back slick; ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; superficial flaking along the top of the spine; ½” wear/split on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Idrees Sulieman, Sahib Shihab, Milt Jackson, Al McKibbon, and Art Blakey.  $100.00.
