Classic Thelonious Monk Trio album with Oscar Pettiford & Kenny Clarke performing the music of Duke Ellington. Riverside 12-201 - pressing is the blue & white microphone & reel with a deep groove. Label reads Microgroove - released by Bill Grauer Productions New York City. The matrix #s read; A: RLP 12-201 A also AT(?) #RE 23,946 GB PAT #713,418 and H: 1 (or+/-) / B: RLP 12-201 B and US pat #RF 3X(?) and same PAT # AS SIDE 1 andsame H: as side 1.
The tunes are: It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing) Sophisticated Lady I Got It Bad, and That Ain't Good Black and Tan Fantasy Mood Indigo I Let A Song Go Out Of My Heart Solitude Caravan
The vinyl is NM with some very, very slight in-out marks. A few spindle marks. Jacket is NM w/ the slightest wear on the corners, and some age yellowing. There is a stamp of an M in a circle on the back at the bottom R corner. Address on the jacket is 418 W 49th St New York 19 NY All in all, a fantastic copy!
