This record and all the other 10 inch LPs I am offering were play graded using a stereo cartridge and stereo preamp. I also spot played them all using a mono cartridge and mono preamp and, without exception, they played significantly better, anywhere from a half to nearly a full grade. The record has the "767 Lexington Ave. NYC" label, deep groove, both sides. In the run out groove is the "ear", the matrix number and "9M". Side 1 of the record is, visually G+. There are a lot of scuffs and light hairline scratches as well as some tiny pressing bumps. Side 2 is VG with some scuffs and just a few light hairline scratches as well as the pressing bumps. The grooves do not look heavily worn. I spot played the record. It played with a little more than moderate even surface noise of the crackling and ticking type. There were occasional pops. The music played above the noise and was not distorted. It play graded at VG-. A not real clean but enjoyable copy.
The cover is near VG+. The seam and spine are intact with areas of heavy wear, especially at bottom and corners. The front cover has a hint of ringwear at the bottom and moderate wear, but looks good. The back has moderate wear and fading, but looks good.
I attempt to grade records conservatively and accurately and provide the information bidders need. Satisfaction is guaranteed without hassle. I will ship the record promptly, properly packed upon receipt of payment. Payment has to be Paypal as Ebay will no longer allow sellers to accept checks or money orders. Payment expected within 7 days.
