VINYL is Very Good + on Side One and Very Good on Side Two. Both sides have great original shines. Side One has some hair-like scratches. Not many. They are faint and visible under light. The side is close to being an excellent rating. Side Two has a few more of these hair -like scratches. Two or three of these run through the side's beginning to it's end. Again, these are light and certainly not deep into the vinyl. Both labels are in excellent condition. They are the iconic Parrot green and yellow labels. Very vibrant. Side One label has a number 15 small sticker attached.
The record plays fine and sounds warm and nostalgic in Mono.
COVER is Very Good. It has two 'bullet holes' as if it were once part of a binder. It also has a peel on the front cover. These issues are pictured above. It has a two inch split seam in the upper right corner. The colors remain fantastic. The front still maintains a gloss. The spine is in great condition. The back shows very little discoloration in it's white background. Front and back are showing some ring wear, but not bad.
People remember Van Morrison briefly being a member of Them. Gloria, one of his songs, is instantly recognizable to the masses. He went on to a successful solo career. But I also give credit to keyboard player Peter Bardens. A few years later, he was a founding member of Camel. A spectacular progressive rock band and one of my personal all-time favorites.
A hard to find piece of vintage vinyl.
