Description
The early Fleetwood Mac never made a better album than this: it’s an absolute gem. Issued in 1969, it was the first to feature Danny Kirwan, and the last to feature Peter Green.
I would have bought it around that time, so I’m pretty confident it’s the original album. it’s on Reprise (with the green/yellow Mississippi steamboat label), number RSLP 9000.
I have no experience of grading albums like the pros, so let me describe its condition to you as well as I can. First, let me say that I’ve always looked after my albums very well: always handled by the edges, always put back in the paper sleeve, with the open side enclosed in the cardboard sleeve. Unfortunately, I no longer have a deck to play it on, so in terms of playability, I’ll have to go on visual inspection. From what I can see, both surfaces are pretty much flawless in terms of scratches – but there are some marks on both sides; I have no way of determining whether these will be audible. There are no spindle marks. The outer sleeve is in surprisingly good nick – not perfect, with some scuffs and general wear along the edges and on the corners. The inner sleeve is original and in good nick.
