Amazing unopened copy of this ultra rare promo-only composer's private press of the elusive early Theremin score to this classic Billy Wilder film noir. The unique early electronic instrument is used to depict "the wail of a disturbed psyche" in underlining the hallucinatory dementia caused by the alcoholism of the main character played by Ray Milland. Rozsa conducts an uncredited orchestra, with the Thereminist most likely being Samuel Hoffman. This was the only ever issue of this complete recording on vinyl, and is undated but appears to have been pressed in the 1970s; a note on the back cover states:"This is a limited edition recording, produced for the promotional purposes of the composer and is not licensed for public sale. The music was transferred to tape from the original acetate masters." Produced and with notes by Hollywood film and tv producer Tony Thomas.

Other international destinations vary as does the cost of adding additional lps depending on weight, email for a quote. Packing I pack professionally and with the utmost care drawn from years of experience trading vinyl internationally. I use new record mailers which I have determined are the best and most protective, reinforced with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap padding. All records are shipped with poly plastic sleeves and with the vinyl outside of the cover to prevent damage. All packages are completely sealed with strong packing tape covering all openings. Unless requested, no paper invoice is included in the package, both to save trees and to avoid customs difficulties. If you'd like your package done any differently, just let me know.
