Maximum RocknRoll presents "They Don''t Get Paid, They Don't Get Laid, But Boy Do They Work Hard" LP test press/test pressing (MRR 004).
Here's a test press/test pressing of the terrific punk compilation LP put out in 1989. It is the fourth installment of Maximum RocknRoll's LP series. This LP features a number of old-school punk bands such as Screeching Weasel, Jawbox, Cringer, Christ on a Crutch and Downfall (the short-lived post-Operation Ivy/pre-Rancid band). This is one of the few official releases featuring a Downfall tune and a super-rare test press version, making it a must-have for Racnid and OpIvy collectors.

The record is in great condition and has only been played once while in my possession. The A-side label features a whilte sticker indicating what the record is (see photo). The jacket is a re-purposed DJ sleeve with the promotional one-sheet from Mordam Records pasted on the front. The jacket has some wear and price-sticker residue, but has no noticeable tears or rips - it's a true DIY throwback to the era.
