ARTIST:
They Might Be Giants
TITLE:
Apollo 18
DETAILS:
1992 German 18-track LP including original printed inner. Album is in opened shrink.
GRADING:
Cover - Very Good Plus
Album is in opened shrink with some wear around sleeve entrance and bottom right hand corner. The inner sleeve is present but quite worn down one side. Price sticker is on album sleeve under shrink suggesting album was shrink wrapped by record store chain.
Record - Very Good Plus
Side 2 looks and plays excellently. Side 1 has what looks like staining/fading on the vinyl. It almost looks like a window starting to mist up. These markings don't really show up on the photographs but are very visible to the naked eye. Although it looks strange it doesn't really seem to hugely change the audio quality, light occasional background noise at most.
Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
