Description
3 LPs by legendary indie icons TMBG!
The reason I'm selling these is that LINCOLN and APOLLO 18 are both recent re-presses, of which I found the sound quality to be slightly sub-par to the original first pressings that I already own. There's nothing wrong with either of them; they've only been played once and are in NM condition. The jacket for Lincoln has some small creases which occurred during shipping, and the inner sleeve has a split on the side seam as well. (It arrived that way. I also had an issue with a pressing of THE ELSE, which arrived warped in the shrink warp. I think whomever handles the distribution of their vinyl has some shitty warehouse practices, as 3 of 4 records I ordered from them arrived with some sort of damage, cosmetic or otherwise...)
Now GLEAN, on the other hand, was damaged during its manufacture. After opening the shrink-wrap, I discovered there was a razor cut through the inner sleeve onto the vinyl. The outer jacket was oddly untouched. Luckily, this cut happened across the lead-in, and only causes a skip during the first 2 seconds of the first track, and the whole album plays completely fine from there. **See photos for details of this defect.** In order to avoid damage to your needle, I would just drop it a few seconds into the song. A minor inconvenience, but still unfortunate. Both LINCOLN and GLEAN also come with digital download vouchers for MP3s of the albums! (Not pictured. Obviously.)
Each was given a quick wash in my Glass AudioDesk ultrasonic vinyl cleaner, so the sound on these should be pristine. Records will ship in sleeves outside of the jackets, all within a brand new polybag. Thanks for checking out this listing and happy bidding to you!
