Description
This auction is for an original 2002 ESL copy of Thievery Corporation's gargantuan vinyl release of The Richest Man in Babylon. Up for bids is the complete set of all four vinyls, all four double-sided inserts, and the beautiful gatefold cover.
I am not a professional record collector, but I will do my best to accurately grade this set:
VINYLS: MINT. HANDS DOWN. In full disclosure, when I first purchased this record, I listened to the first and second vinyls once only and never again. Never even got to the third or fourth vinyls.
INSERTS: EXCELLENT. All surfaces are clean, unscratched and beautiful, but there are a few corner bends and dings.
COVER: VG+. As you can see in the photos, this is a beautiful specimen. Still, in full disclosure, and as noticed in the photos, there is some wear around the corners and edges, extremely faint ring line, and one or two tiny scratches.
This is an honest attempt at grading this record. Let it be known that it is beautiful and fully intact, and has been untouched on a shelf in my bedroom for the past several years.
