DESCRIPTION: Thin Lizzy Lp- Vagabonds of The Western World. 1st Uk press with dark Blue/silver boxed decca labels, insert , matrix ending 3w/5w and stereo inner. dated 1273. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Decca SKL5170 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. Played lengthy passages of this today on my Pro- ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds excellent . Clear and loud. Cover is one of the best ive had for this. It is firm and square and has light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Clean labels. Inner sleeve is also in EX condition, no splits but poly lining starting to come away on one side . INSERT is EX with light wear only. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice all round copy of a great Lizzy Lp. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
