Hello! Silverfox Records is proud to present the following Ebay auction. You are bidding on the following item and here is what you will receive:
1) Battle Royale the special 78RPM 10" that Third Man Records produced for attendees at New York Public Library's 'The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records' event where they showcased their deluxe suitcase style boxset and more. This 10" features the following tracks:
A Sister Ernia Mae Cunningham– You Better Run B Rev. H.C. Gatewood, D.D.I.M.R.A*– The New Birth
More details about this release: Both selections were previously released in 1927 on Paramount. Side A on Paramount 12473 and Side B on Paramount 12476. Note that Paramount 12522 (the label given to the Battle Royale 10") is one of the few untraced releases in the original race series.
Note--As you can see by the picture, the paper sleeve does have a tear in it around the center. The vinyl however is UNPLAYED and in excellent condition.
