I have been collecting Thompson Twins since 1983, this copy was originally Put out for sale when released in 1985 at a Virgin Records store, and was immediately recalled by Tom Bailey, There or only approximately 10 copies known to exist making this item SUPER EXTREMELY RARE. After this copy was recalled/pulled from stores, Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins personally gave it to Vivian Taylor who headed up the Thompson Twins Official Fan Club (TeeFax). Many years later Vivian put it up in an Auction on Facebook to raise money for a charity if I remember right although I don't know what charity. A friend of mine in the UK won the auction and kept it in his Thompson Twins collection for a few years before selling it to me. I took jus the sleeve with me to the Iridium where Tom was playing/on tour on August 1st, 2018 and even though there was some worry about the past (bad reasons/omens Tom felt/believed back in 1985 and had it recalled), He was more than happy to Autograph it. I am not at a point where I feel other fans / collectors should have a chance to enjoy that rare / hard to find Thompson Twins items, plus I am raising money for the new house and Multimedia Studio and as such, I will be listing more super rare Thompson Twins items in the next few days so be sure to check my other Auctions periodically. I am no record grader or record store so I have done my best to describe this record, The Vinyl looks unplayed, I personally have never played it since I already have a copy of this same version from a WLP/Test Pressing. The Sleeve isn't perfect due to the recall, unpacking / packing, gift to Vivian, Facebook auction etc... but in reality, this single is so rare it almost doesn't even matter... The chances of finding another one are practically zero, after all, it took me 33 Years to get this copy, and thats only because my friend offered it to me first when he was ready to sell it.
