  Artist: Thorinshield Title: Thorinshield Label/Number: Philips PHS-600-251 (S) Jacket condition: EX Record condition: VG+ Notes: As noted, the cover is still in its original shrink wrap and, as such, is in nice condition. However, there are a couple of corner "dings" and a small "bb" hole in the top right corner that lead me to grade the overall condition of the cover down just a little to EX. The labels are in nice condition with no flaws of note. The vinyl is bright and glossy but has enough light scratches to warrant grading it down a little to a conservative VG+. As an added bonus the record is still contained in its original Philips inner sleeve. Grading: Grading is usually only visual for VG+ or better items, although if time allows I may play to verify the quality of a pressing or just to hear the music. VG items are usually only listed if they are fairly hard-to-find items and are always play graded. Regardless of the grade, if I do play the LP, I note the results in the item description. I use Goldmine standards with Ebay's EX grade added for items NOT QUITE up to NM; but please read the notes above as I try to note anything that might influence the grading one way or another. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record and hope my feedback speaks well for my grading. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.    Mailing and costs: Domestic shipping is via USPS, media mail with delivery confirmation. I ship in cardboard mailers made specifically for records with additional cardboard pads for added protection. Shipping and handling charges are a flat $4.00 for the first LP and $1.00 per additional LP. Overseas shipping on purchases under $100.00 may be sent by USPS First Class Mail International but I will upgrade at the buyer's request. Orders for more than $100.00 will need to be by Priority Mail International. This provides added protection for both the buyer and for me. The price will be the actual shipping costs plus $1.50 for the mailer and pads noted above. I know that customs charges are problematic but, sorry to say, I cannot lower the value on the customs form below the purchase price.

I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.

Please note that in the header I have noted that the LP is NM. The description notes that it is VG+. The description is correct. It has some light scuffs and scratches so that appearance wise a conservative VG+ is appropriate. I just play graded it due to the mistake in the listing in order to be more definitive. It plays very well but does have just a bit of light surface noise, mostly in the dead wax between cuts but maybe a little in the quieter passages of music. In any case, I apologize for the mistake and would encourage any current bidders to change or withdraw your bids if you relied on the header instead of the description.
