Description
Title: Naturally
Artist: Three Dog Night
Catalog: Japan MCA VIM-5002 issued in 1982. MCA black rainbow label. Manufacture by Victor Musical Industries.
Jacket: Near mint like new, has Japananese/English insert, NO OBI strip. This reissue is a SINGLE sleeve with NO tear off poster.
LP: Visual and play graded NM, dead quiet surfaces. Side one label has thin font handwritten initials (see pic). I didn’t even notice this until listing it.
Notes: Stampers are DSX-50088A 1 1 1 and DSX-50088B 1 1 1. Could be pressed from US ABC/Dunhill metal parts as that was the US catalog number, but I could not locate the 111 suffixes anywhere. It sounds right on par with my personal US Pitman pressing. The sound of this album is deep and heavy, very mindful of the sound that was on Steppenwolf albums! Musically this was probably on of the band’s most consistent and well formed albums. The non single tracks are outstanding including a beautiful cover of Jesse Colin Young’s “Sunlight” plus the heavy instrumental “Fire Eater”. If you have never heard the whole album, check it out on Youtube, but it won’t sound as good as this LP!! From my personal collection, selling off some doubles.
