Description

This is a gorgeous collection "Three Famous Scenes from Wagner by Kirsten Flagstad, Lauritz Melchior and the San Francisco Opera Orchestra" by Victor Records. It is a 5 LP set in book form and comes with a pamphlet with the words to the operas in it. This was made by RCA Musical Masterpiece Series. There is no year indicated on the pamphlet or the records, but this is an old box set. They are Victor Red Seal Records. The records are in wonderful condition. The little pamphlet is in good condition, with some wear and tear at the corners. The 'folder' box they come in is in very good conditiona, with a little wear and tear at the edges of the binding. The famous scenes on the pamphlet cover are 'Love Duet and Liebestod' from "Tristan and Isolde" and 'Brunnhilde's Immolation' from "Die Gotterdammerung". What a beautiful and rare set!
