Three Mile Pilot Chief Assassin AND Starcontrol Out OOP

I've seen these sold separately (though neither have been up for auction for a while), but never together. This is the very limited edition Pinback/Black Heart Procession precursor Three Mile Pilot's The Chief Assassin To The Sinister LP packaged in a handmade burlap bag and pressed on colored vinyl (a few different colors were issued; this one is red, as you can see in photo #7), PLUS the rare Starcontrol Out EP with a hand-screened glow-in-the-dark design on the non-playable side of the one-sided record (picture #4), included in the same package. So far as I can tell, this configuration was only available from the band on the tour for Chief Assassin. I bought this one directly from Pall at their show in Eugene, Oregon. Discussing condition on this package can get tricky so I'll try and keep this as organized as I can. Starting with the burlap cover, that's in M- condition, stored well and very rarely handled since purchase. The Chief Assassin LP cover has a strange mark on it (picture #3) that's been there since I purchased it from Pall. I wish I'd seen it and gotten a different copy, but that mark was there before the record went into the package. The photocopied artwork for that record's sleeve is with the passage of time starting to lose the glue, and has a slight fold in it (again, that's been there since I got it). I could've very easily photocopied and replaced that particular piece of paper and nobody would be any the wiser, but that's cheating. If you want to do it once you get the record, I promise nobody will ever notice; it's just a plain photocopy. The rest of the sleeve is immaculate. The red vinyl record itself is MINT, having never been played. The Starcontrol Out EP is MINT/MINT, never been played with the cover in PERFECT condition, and that glow-in-the-dark screen print on the flip side of the vinyl is really, really cool. The record comes with all of the original inserts (picture #6) in pristine shape as well. All in all, this is a shockingly great specimen of a very rare version of a very rare version of what is coming to be considered after some years a classic album, and a prize in any good record collection. I've been collecting records for about 25 years and worked in very good record stores for a not insignificant percentage of those years. I have thousands and thousands of them, and have probably sold as many as I've bought. In other words, I know what I'm doing and am not going to screw you over. I do not sell them lightly, and hope they go to someone as pathetically, pathologically and girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse-infuriatingly obsessed with them as I am. I pack well and insist on any problems with the transaction being solved by the responsible party. I combine shipping, am happy to ship internationally (and am equally happy to take the necessary steps to avoid exorbitant customs charges and such), and charge a reasonable rate that probably won't even cover my real shipping costs but I figure we all think it's too damned expensive so I'll split the difference with you because that's just how great of a guy I am. In order to avoid such problems, I recommend asking pertinent questions in advance. Stupid questions will be responded to in the voice of the Muppet Show's Swedish Chef. I am increasingly open to selling off parts of my collection, so if there's something you've been looking for, send your inquiries and want lists this way and I will try to put those items up for auction as well.
