Description
Through The Sound Barrier with McIntosh-Special "sound effects" test disc designed specifically fro McIntosh stereo. Custom McIntosh records Cat# MM 105 Has great pictures of vintage McIntosh equipment inside gate fold.
This disc was released in 1955 and features jet and rocket engine sounds, alarm clock, sonic boom, aircraft cannon and more all to give the system an audio workout.
Great liner notes inside on record card and on the sound recordings.
Record is VG to VG+ nice shine minimal marks, plays great. Has spindle trails showing signs of play on label. Cover is VG, gate fold must be opened to extract record. From opening where record is extracted to middle there is a clean split top and bottom about three quarters of the way down each seam. Some general light wear as well. Spine still reasonably intact and legible albeit some wear evident.
Very rare and unusual item I have not seen this before and I have collected records for 40+ years. Cool for the McIntosh aficianado.
