Description
Item is surprisingly good for its age/origin. Some hairline swirling, a scuff or scratch is found here and there primarily on side b. Surface noise from blemishes are minimal but are mostly heard between tracks and quieter passages. Both sides play through with no skips. Please see pictures for condition. Lighting does exaggerate scuffs and scratches. Please excuse my dry and dusty environment. Cover material approximates magazine cover stock.
Tilahun Gessesse (Amharic: ???? ???; September 27, 1940 – April 19, 2009) was an Ethiopian singer regarded as the most popular artist in the 20th century. Noted by his tenor voice, he was nicknamed "The Voice" during his country's "Golden Age" in the 1960s. Tilahun was an eminent singer whose works are attributed legacy to Ethiopian music.
