Tim Buckley - Goodbye & Hello
(Elektra EKL 318 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve. It comes with its original custom Picture/ Lyric Inner Sleeve. This is printed on paper. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has smooth orange "Elektra" labels. The record has 1st press A (SON)/ B (SON) matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this classic 1967 Baroque Folk-Rock-Psych LP. Complete with inner sleeve.
Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the top & bottom edges on a few areas. There are about 4 very small & light (0.5 cm to 1 cm) hairline creases at the spine. Otherwise, the spine is fairly nice & clean. The spine text is completely legible. There are 3 or 4 small laminate creases. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, Very Good+ condition
Vinyl: There are some mild, very mild or more moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. There is a small area of moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, on Side 2. There are about 6 light or mild surface hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 5 cm in length. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks. These can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in Very Good+ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear.
The Picture/ Lyric Inner Sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is an 11 cm area of the bottom edge that has come unstuck at the glue seam. This could be easily re-glued if desired. There are mild, more moderate to moderate ringwear & creasing. There are a couple of small tears at the inner sleeve opening edges. There is light, mild or very mild foxing & fading on some areas.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Good+ to Very Good overall & Very Good+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This only really notices in the quieter places. It never overpowers the music. The music still shines through. There are some light or very mild intermittent clicks on the 1st track on Side 2. It goes into the 2nd track too. This doesn't last too long into the 2nd track on Side 2.
I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.
