Description

A bit of a rarity this one...An original 1st UK press on Elektra from summer 1970. This was not a big seller and the solid red Elektra label wasn't round for long either. The vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill cover. We also have the original plastic bag warning sleeve date coded to 0770 [correct for the release period]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. For a folk title, like this one, you're gonna need a nice clean player otherwise background will interfere quickly. I'm pleased to report a lovely clean player, here, allowing the strumming and the vocal acrobatics to float outta the speakers. Little to take issue with really. Maybe a few crackles in one brief isolated moment per side.  A couple of minor ticks midway through 'Driftin'. A great standard form this hard to find Elektra original.
Cover (Vg+) In nice condition given that it's a tricky mostly white cover. Expect a bit of light ageing at extremities - but overall not too bad at all. There's a bit of light edge wear, but nothing epic. The text on the spine 90% legible - with just a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains verygood rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged. Bag present. No splits.
