Cover: Non-laminated single cover with “SHOREPAK Patents pending” text. A couple of small light creases on the front, some rubbing on the bottom edge and the faintest hint of ringwear near the top edge, but no tears or seam splits and the opening is straight with no feathering. There is some light staining in the bottom corner adjacent to the spine (visible in photo). There is also some light rubbing on the spine, which has partially eroded some of the text letters, but the text is still fairly clear and legible. Strictly graded as VG+.
Inner Sleeve: Plain white poly-lined cardboard sleeve. I have no idea whether this is the original inner sleeve that came with this record, as there is no text or other identifying marks. There are no seam splits, tears or creases.
Labels: Original pink Straight labels with a few light spindle trails on both sides.
Vinyl: Original vinyl, which looks near-mint under normal lighting. Under a halogen light, I can see a couple of light hairline sleeve-removal marks that do not affect playback. There is some background crackle here and there, but this isn’t loud or intrusive and does not detract from the music itself. There are no skips, ticks or pops. An enjoyable original with clear and distortion-free sound, but strictly graded as VG+ to EX due to the light background crackle during certain parts of the record.
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers.
