One of the rarest direct-to-disc productions, this Cal Tjader piece is quite stunning in its audio capture. Fact is, the Latin jazz tempos are infectious, especially in "view" of the very fine sound.
The presence here is simply astounding. And no wonder: The board electronics were designed by John Curl of Mark Levinson fame, and you can tell, so utterly natural and un-restrained is the sound. Mastering, too, was performed by Stan Ricker.
A note, though, please: Be careful in bringing this record to realistic levels, as it can utilize enormous power and thus induce damage, if you are not careful.
Cover is without fault, the tribute sticker still affixed, while within is the 45RPM platter in near-mint playing condition.
One of few jazz direct-to-discs of note. Impressive playing, with splendid tonal colors.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
