Matrix/Stamper No.s: X 616 A / X 616 B with "Made in Switzerland" stamped in the deadwax on both sides.
Cover: Non-laminated gatefold cover. Apart from a small (2.5cm x 1.5cm) shop sticker on the back panel, the artwork is fairly clean with no tears or major creases. Just a hint of ringwear on the back panel and some light corner wear, but no seam splits. There is some light feathering at the opening edge. The spine shows some signs of wear, but is still fairly square with all text still legible. Still a nice cover for its age; grades somewhere around VG+/EX-.
Inner Sleeve: Plain, white poly-lined inner sleeve with no seam splits.
Labels: Original brown Hellelujah labels, with a few spindle trails on both sides.
Vinyl: Original heavyweight (172 grams) vinyl. Under a halogen light I can see a few very fine, wispy sleeve-removal marks on side 1, none of which have any effect on the sound. Side 1 plays near-mint. On side 2, there is a small (approx. 1cm) hairline mark near the outer edge that causes a tick during the beginning of the first track (‘Life Goes On”). The tick starts 25 seconds into the track and can be heard three times, but is then drowned out by the loud music. It resurfaces just as the song segues into a mellow passage at about the 2-minute mark and can be heard approximately 16 times. The tick is not loud, and certainly doesn’t detract from the music. The rest of side 2 plays near-mint, without any skips or distortion. Side 1 grades M-; side 2 grades VG+.
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers.SHIPPING COSTS & CONDITIONS: All shipping costs quoted are for this item alone.
