           TODD RUNDGREN      Runt          Ampex A-10105
Up for auction is a November, 1970 second Ampex press (mispress) of Todd Rundgren's brilliant solo debut lp, "Runt". Different mixes and 2 extra songs (1 of which  - "Hope I'm Around" would appear on the following years' "Ballad....." lp). Like hearing it all over again from scratch. Kinda rare. This has to be one of the greatest U.S. pop debuts ever.   

DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has  A 10105-A AL STERLING LH ARC 11-20-70 all etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has  A 10105 B AL STERLING LH ARC 11-20-70 stamped into the dead wax. OG 2nd Ampex mispress, circa November of 1970.

  VINYL VISUAL: VG+ with a couple of shallow spindle marks, light handling marks and some storage mottling. Labels show VERY few plays.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and better with EXCELLENT fidelity and a very low noise level, particularly on the really quiet tracks ("There Are No Words" and "Say No More"). Not enough noise to intrude onto the enjoyment of the music, though.  Spindle marks are of no aural consequence.  
COVER VISUAL: VG and much better with VERY minor seam and spine wear, but almost NO ring wear. Downgraded for the corners (see pictures). Actually shows GREAT.
Comes with OG lyric/picture printed (EXCELLENT) paper inner sleeve. Vinyl is held in an Audiophile rice plastic inner inserted into a plain paper inner.      DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
