This is an impossibly rare 1A/1A Bob Ludwig-mastered edition of Todd's "AWATS." These matrix numbers cannot even be found in Discogs or other record guides. It would be safe to assume that no earlier commercial pressing of this album exists! I have never seen another.
The record is in excellent condition. Visual inspection reveals a very few scuffs and/or hairlines. Of course as every Todd fan knows, this record can never sound spectacular owing to the inordinately long running time of each side, although the Ludwig versions are certainly the best among them. The record has been in my possession since new and has always been well cared-for.
The album comes with the rare Patti Smith poem on a BandAid, the mail-in postcard, the printed inner sleeve, and the very rare hype-sheet that was wrapped around early pressings of the album. Each of these stand-alone pieces has some slight wrinkling, but all are in extremely good condition.
The die-cut jacket is in very good plus condition, with some edge and shelf wear. There is a notable scratch towards the top left of the back cover.
