Tom & Jerry and the Fire Engine, MGM S-19, "Based on the famous M-G-M motion picture comedy cartoon as produced by Fred Quimby," story by Elmer Gregory; music composed and cinducted by Leroy Holmes; narrated by Bret Morrison; assited by Cece Blake, PICTURE SLEEVE ONLY 

Both are extremely rare, in particular the picture sleeve, which as we all know, rarely stay intact to the point of keeping it.  This one, is in fine shape, and one of the earliest (I can not confirm what "order" it was in with the MGM releases of records, however, I believe the Fire Engine was the fourth in 1954.)

The record is 10" with usual yellow with black lettering "Unbreakable" label.  Some generally light scratches/rubs; there is some background noise and ticks at times.  Nice gloss.

The "prize" is the sleeve for the Fire Engine.  The red colour is still very deep and vibrant.  The white has dulled a bit.  There is some light brown spotting on the left, bottom, above the fire hydrant.  A small smudge below "and."  A few more sparse small brown spots along top.  A tiny peel off of the red above "and."  Very light ringwear, barely noticeable.  NO splits.  One small tear (1cm) on left side toward top; another on top opening about 2cm; some smaller ones/wear along top.  Small crease top left corner where it may have been folded at one time.  Back shows definite ringwear.  Some noticeable creases top right corner.  Tanning more noticeable along edges.  Ads for: Flick the Little Fire Engine; Horton hatches the egg; Irving the Unemployed Horse; The Wizard of Oz; Mother Goose Parade; Tugboat Danny; Irbing Caesar's Songs of Health; and Pride of Kentucky.

We are still getting settled into the new home--but this is what it is: HOME!!! 

I have picked up quite a bit of interesting items along the way from my purchases of records--my primary item here on ebaY.  Anything from vintage metal banks to art (yes, even some "museum quality" works and artists but will not be seen on ebaY) to United States Army World War II equipment to Singer sewing accessories to lots of highly collectible books and lots of interesting things.  Not to mention, again, lots and lots of rare vinyl!!!

So, keep your eyes out for my listings and the vinyl I will be listing!  (I can not mention artists due to spamming regulations,) but...

**Look for rare 45's, 78's and mainly 33 1/3.

**Labels of all of the big ones: Capitol, Apple, Mercury Living Presence, Vanguard, RCA Living Stereo and shaded dogs, Epic, Decca, King, Jazzland, Columbia, Prestige, Folkways, DGG, Atco, Bang, Swan Song, Vee Jay, etc. etc. etc.!  (I could be here for hours!)  Many of the osbcure labels, too. 

**Even a collection of half-speed masters, audiophiles, DMM, direct-to-vinyl, quadraphonics, digital, etc.  About 100 of these!

Regarding my items listed on ebaY:

I am neither a dealer nor a "professional!"  I simply love the old stuff!  Old soul, I am.  Anything I have "collected" and list here, I just find someone else may enjoy it more than me.  The same as with my records, I do not "assign" a value: I just describe everything I see as best as I can.  If you have ANY questions about any of my listings, I will do the best that I can to answer them.  (Keep in mind: I may not know the terminology of the specific area of collectibles.  So, no laughing!)  Records, however, is my passion.  Ask away!

Regarding my vinyl:

As I stated above: I am not a professional, but I am honest.  I do not give a specific "condition value" of my records.  I leave that up to the potential buyer.  What I list is ALL of the blemishes/damage I see.  Giving a "value" is subjective; listing the blemishes so YOU can assign a value is definitive.  So, if you have any questions, ASK!  Something new I will be doing: I will break the description down in four ways: Jacket, label, inner sleeve, and of course, vinyl. Please understand, as excellent condition as many of the items I list are in, they are still used!  (Unless, they are sealed.)

Shipping and handling:

$3.90 for most books; $4.80 for a single LP; $3.30 for a single 45; $5.60 for a single 78.  This includes all charges including delivery confirmation, except insurance, sent via media mail.  This is for the continental United States.  Other items (and larger books) will be actually listed.  Please see the item's description.  These are the actual costs of shipping materials and actual fees.  There is no "jacking up" the price for the shipping.  (If anything, the time it takes me to package these items--you'll see!--should be worth another dollar or two!  :)  Which, I will not charge you for my time.)  If you want an item sent priority, overnight, etc., you need to contact me first about the cost before payment, please!

I ship once a week, usually either Saturday or Monday.  Depending on when I receive your payment depends on when I send your item(s) won. 

I will be glad to ship world-wide!  (You can check www.usps.com under the international rates for your country's rate.  I would request if you can not find your rate to please ask if you need assitance before you bid!)

**ALL pictures are of the actual items.  I take them myself.  Therefore, please bare with the quality, which is not the best at times.  If the lighting is off and does not reflect the true colours, I will state so in the item's description.  If it is the yellows and reds, know right off the bat they somtimes bleed or lighten.  For "high-interest" items, I will most likely include more than just the one.  If you need additional pictures, I can take more upon request and send them via email.

**If you do not see an artist or title listed, ASK!  I will be keeping a log of "Look out for" requests and will keep in touch with you along with my findings.  It just also may be I have not listed it yet.

**Return policies: If a record is damaged because of my packaging, I will refund the entire amount, including shipping.  However, I can not be responsible for the delivery of the USPS.  (They have been generally terrific, by the way!)

**If you dispute my description of the item for whatever reason (although, I can be human!), please contact me with the exact reason why.  We can discuss the return only after I know the reason why.  No refunds will be issued without the item first being returned at YOUR expense.

**Feedback is obviously not mandatory.  However, it is appreciated.  Please be honest with my service and item.  If you feel a negative is deserved, I would like to speak with you (or at least communicate with you) before it is officially left.  I will attempt to leave feedback immediately after your part of the transaction is over.  In other words, once payment is received and processed, there is no waiting on my part to see what you give me.  That's against the spirit of what feedback is there for.
