Description
Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

This single was first released in 1965, it was produced by the legendary Joe Meek. The backing band's lineup included the highly regarded Big Jim Sullivan and future Deep Purple founder and lead guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. That same year Tom Jones released seven singles, mostly on Decca records including 2 smash hits ; "It's not unusual" and "what's new pussycat". Those massive hits outshone his 2 columbia releases by far. One can guess that this single sold poorly back in the day...
This single is so scarce and rarely shows up in any condition. So if you're a serious collector of Deep purple related rarities, make sure you don't miss the chance to win this absolute collector's item !!!
The vinyl looks like new with its just pressed shine and super healthy grooves !!!
The labels are super clean and the original company sleeve is intact, like new (see scans).
The disk will be packed seperately from its original company sleeve in an acid free quality plain white sleeve and a polythene cover.
