Description
I'm selling the very rare 2 LP set of Tom Petty's masterpiece "Wildflowers". This is the 2 LP reissue cut by Chris Bellman @ Bernie Grundman mastering, from the original analog master tapes for the first time (original LP was cut from digital). It was removed from the Studio Albums box set and is not available as a standalone release. This copy isn't quite perfect and I don't feel right selling it as "New". It's never touched a turntable and is unplayed, but just doesn't look quite as pristine as I think it should for a brand new record.
Condition is as follows:
Cover: Flawless. Not a mark on it, with no seam splits or corner dings. Insert: Flawless LP #1 - Side 1: Two smudges at the very outer edge at the lead in groove. Smudges do not extend into the play area and can likely be cleaned. They just look like a spot where someone must've not had the cleanest hands when handling it. The 4th photo shows what this looks like. LP #1 - Side 2: Two smudges at the very outer edge at the lead in groove. Smudges do not extend into the play area and can likely be cleaned. LP #2 - Side 3: This has the same two smudges as the first LP, a few light hairline marks, and the odd marks shown in the 5th photo. They're all extremely light and can only be seen when the LP is held at just the right angle. LP #2 - Side 4: This has the same two smudges as the first LP, and a few hairline marks. These are so light that they're almost not worth mentioning, but under the LP inspection light, they look like the lightest of sleeve scuffs.
I will ship this in an oversized box for protection. The records may not look flawless, but I have no doubt these will be fantastic sounding LPs.
