Artist: Tom Scott With The California Dreams
Title: The Honeysuckle Breeze
Label: Impulse! AS-9163 Orange and Black NY Stereo Pressing from 1967
Condition: Cover is a strong VG+ with only slight crease edges on the bottom right and top right corners. Record plays VG+ (Excellent), there is a visible surface mark on side two, but it does not affect play. Also included is the original Impule! record sleeve (Has a slight rip at the bottom).
Comment: Up for grabs is a rare sought after jazz LP from Tom Scott that is known among record circles for containing the famous horn sample for Pete Rock & CL Smooth's - They Reminisce Over You. Not just that, but it has been sampled by artists like Lord Finesse and People Under the Stairs. Aside the sample craze, the record is an excellent album to listen too, something that is often overshadowed it's reputation.
