Description
Tom Waits released this Lp in 1974 and his ravaged voice (which would sound even more ravaged on later albums) and poetry, won over many listeners. I still consider 'The Heart of Saturday Night', to be one of his top three in terms of songwriting, lyricism, and production. This Promo copy I'm offering is a very early pressing from July 1974 and stands out among all the other copies I've heard revealing hidden details and rich tones throughout. Easily, the best sounding copy I've ever heard. A very rare gem especially in this condition.
Condition of Jacket: Excellent....almost perfect with just some very minor wear to two corners, spine is near-perfect, vivid colors...Solid cover.
Condition of Record: Near Mint...beautiful, clean promo labels...nice shine to the vinyl with only the slightest evidence of sleeve removal marks which have no bearing on playback....Really hard to find like this.
