Description

Up for auction is this super rare stomper from Louisiana rockabilly artist Tommy Cassel. Recorded in 1958 with session musicians that also worked with the likes of Elvis Presley, the two tracks here are surefire barn burners.
Side A: Rockin' Rock And A Rollin' Stone Side B: It Ain't What You Got
Both sides are killer!  I am selling this as an original pressing as I've determined a few things that separate it from some bootleg copies that are floating around.  If you'd like more details, please contact me.  However, one identifier is the original catalog number (45R1362 A/B) matches other original pressings that have sold. Boot copies appear to replace the "R" with a "B" in the cat #.  I'm willing to discuss further with any interested buyers.
I would grade this record conservatively at VG+.  Considering it's a 50+ year old 45, it's in great shape.  There is some very minor storage warp (very minor), but it plays great with very little surface noise. I won't be upset if this thing doesn't sell as these two tracks are killer and it's cool knowing I found this in a stack of old C&W/Hillbilly 45s at a local thrift.
Shipping is paid by auction winner and depending on the final selling price, I'm willing to flex on my shipping option choices.  Insurance will be included if auction winner desires. Also, I've been burned by international buyers before, so I am weary of shipping overseas unless there is good communication prior to end of auction/shipping/paying for item.
Let me know if you have any questions and happy bidding!
