Description
Tommy Hoehn & Lesa Aldridge performing as Airflox (or Airflöx) "Monachrome / I'm Gonna Make You Mine" Ibby Records, 1984. Super rare power pop / rock single from two important members of the 70s-80s Memphis scene, very closely associated with Big Star and Alex Chilton. They later got married to each other. Both songs are written by Hoehn, who sings on one side. Aldridge sings on the flip.
This record is barely documented online. There is no discogs listing and it is not mentioned in any article that I can find about either artist. There is one eBay result from 2015 where it sold as a buy-it-now the same day that it was listed. Seems to be more rare than Aldridge's solo 45 as "Lesa" from 1980 which has sold a few times for as much as $600.
The record is VG+ or better. Vinyl shows minimal signs of handling, plays great. No picture sleeve issued, as far as I can tell. Please see all pics for best visual description of the condition.
I have been dealing in records for 25+ years. All records are sent in new Bags Unlimited brand mailers, properly packed with the vinyl outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit.
