Description
For your consideration is a northern soul 45 rpm from Tommy Jay on HI Records - #45-2088 (A Side - Tender Love/B Side - Tomorrow) from 1965. This record is labeled as a - Disc Jockey/Not For Sale promo. Jerry Osborne's Rockin' Records 2012 edition lists this 45 for $500 NM. I have play graded the vinyl as NM. I have sight graded the vinyl as excellent and sight graded the A side label as VG+ due to the black check mark. The B side of the label is sight graded as excellent. I detest when sellers label records as rare as this is not a rare record but it is highly collectible and difficult to find in this condition. In my opinion there are only extreme cases when records can be legitimately called "rare". Sorry for the sermon on record grading as it is a peeve of mine. I consider myself a conservative grader and will work with anyone that is not in agreement with my assessment. Also, I believe in free market economics and I am going to start the bidding low and let the free market forces dictate the outcome. Happy bidding everyone.
