Description

Very rare and sought after British modern jazz 10-inch from 1955 on the collectable Esquire label, featuring the Tommy Whittle Quintet comprising Tommy Whittle (tenor sax), Harry Klein (baritone sax), Dill Jones (piano), Dave Willis (bass) and Eddie Taylor (drums). 
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in slightly tatty condition with corner wear, a couple of small tears at the opening edge, 2cm seam splits to the top and bottom at the opening edge, and other general wear. It grades Good+. 
The vinyl, however, while it has some surface lines and minor marks, plays through really well with minimal surface noise and grades conservatively VG++. 
A really enjoyable listen and an extremely scarce slice of 'golden era' British jazz. 
99p start and no reserve. I'll consider sensible offers.
