MGM Records # E3717 , 1958 VG++ Deep Groove

This auction is for an Original recording by Toni Carroll from 1958. A terrific item with very minor flaws.

Vinyl is clean with all original luster. Record has seen very little play time. A couple very minor surface marks.

Deep Groove Yellow MGM labels are also in VG++ condition with no wear.

Gatefold jacket is also in VG++ condition with very minor wear. The front of jacket has a cut-out T with toni's face showing through. Some minor color break around the T opening.A small bump on the back cover.Very minor wear on covers. Inside covers are clean with terrific colors and No wear. A beautiful full length picture of Toni.

A small history on the LP title and song titles:

E/SE-3717 - This One Is the Toni - Toni Carroll [1958] Note: The LP title is in reference to a TV commercial running at the time. The woman on the commercial would ask if they could tell the difference between a professional hair style and a home job done with a Toni hair product, asking, "Which one is the Toni?" I'm In The Mood For Love/I Only Have Eyes For You/Call Toni/I Don't Know Why/'S Wonderful/Why Can't This Night Go On Forever/ The Very Thought Of You/The Hidden Body/Please Be Kind/It's Been A Long Long Time/This Is Always/Goodnight, Oh My Darling
