Rare 1st copy of the Tonton Macoute album "Tonton Macoute" 1971 Gatefold cover Neon/RCA label NE4
The cover is a gatefold printed by E.J. Day Group London & Bedford. Spine in EX condition showing text clear in red. Light wear rub at top of spine. Rear cover ring wear and storage rub.Front clean and unmarked,light shelve wear and lead open edge. The cover has no writing or damage. VG+EX-
The inner black cover with plastic lining is in tact. MADE IN ENGLAND text and PATENT Nos.1128555/1072844. Light crease lines EX.
Labels are clean and unmarked. Side two carries a SAMPLE RECORD - NOT FOR SALE sticker. Side two has the colourful Neon Label with "The Birth Of Venus" by Botticelli image. NM-
The vinyl is clean and shiny. Does have a few light scuffs and hairlines all non feel-able. I don't think this album was played much, but may have been removed from cover a few times. VG+
