Description
Rare original Mono pressing of Tony Pabon And His All-Stars, released in 1970 on Alegre Records (LPA-882), one of the most influential Latin labels of the era. This was Pabon’s solo debut after his tenure with Pete Rodriguez, and it features a powerhouse lineup of NYC salsa and Latin jazz musicians including José Mangual Jr., Benny Bonilla, and Kent Gomez.
The album is packed with descarga-style jams, fiery cha-cha grooves, and heavy Latin soul influences—essential for DJs, crate diggers, and collectors of classic New York salsa dura. Original Abbey Press pressing. Hard to find in any condition.
