Tool Aenima 2LP Double Vinyl - Original 90's Pressing (VG+) Zoo BMG. Condition is Used and being sold AS IS with NO RETURNS. Shipped within 24 hours of receiving payment.

Hi - I bought this from a record store back in the 90s. I had no idea it was going to be a collector's item at the time or I probably would have never opened it LOL.  It is definitely not one of those fake bootlegs that have flooded the market though.

**This is the version with the dark grey labels & matrix etching that reads 72445-11087-1**

I am not a record seller, and due to the extreme rarity of the record itself, I cannot accept any returns... so please ask any questions and be sure of your decision before you make a commitment to buy.

Ratings are a little different for everyone... but what I can say is both the vinyls have been very rarely played yet there are still some slight scuffs and surface marks on them from play, storage, and being pulled out of the sleeve, in addition to some fingerprints on the vinyl itself. 

I also noticed a very slight warp on both the records (one more than the other) but it does not effect play in my opinion. It's almost not worth mentioning but I'm trying to be as descriptive as possible.

***UPDATE 02/23/2020 I've decided to lower the price and the record grading to VG because of the warp. It really isn't very bad, but I just want whoever the buyer is to be completely satisfied with their purchase.  :-)

The jacket has some surface marking with long light scuffs on the front and back, some wear at the top and bottom of the spine (where it unfolds) and one of the sleeves has some wrinkles and ring wear (see pics). However most of the markings on the jacket are only visible when it is held up to the light. It is missing the original shrink wrap but has been always kept in a plastic sleeve. You can obviously see that it has been handled and played.

I currently don't have any good turntables set up so I can't do a full playthrough, plus that would be one more time that it was played by me and not you so I don't want to do that anyway. 

***UPDATE 02/18/2020 - I ended up doing a full playthrough afterall... there is surface noise through the whole album, however it is only apparent during the very quiet parts.  The quiet parts are so quiet, and the loud parts are so loud, that it just might be the limitations of the dynamic range of vinyl.  Only a couple pops near the end of side one, which ends in a locked groove with extra surface noise added by the band.  The second side starts out with the same effect and another locked groove (really messed with me at first LOL). 

There's also one sketchy spot in Third Eye where there's a bit of noise, but it honestly looks like it could be a flaw in the pressing... the groove looks weird right in that spot.  Other than that, it sounds good with only a few crackles overall and is something I would be happy with if I were the buyer.***

I thought about trying to clean everything, but with my luck I would probably scratch it haha so I'm just going to leave it as is and up to the buyer to take care of.

I also tried to take as many pictures as I possibly could but it was extremely difficult to get anything to show up, especially without a glare (the pictures actually make the records look a bit cleaner than they really are but you can see there are no major scratches).

This album means a lot to me because it has some of my all-time favorite Tool songs on it. But I'm getting to the point in life where I'm realizing I have too many things that would probably mean more to somebody else than they do me.
