Description
Tool Aenima DLP. This is an original pressing from 1996. IT IS NOT IN GREAT SHAPE. Please read the detailed info below so you aren't sad when you get it. I included pics of the jacket/inner sleeves, and have detailed notes of each side of the record which I listened to all the way through. I found this at a thrift store miraculously enough, but it was not well taken care of. However, for the die-hard Tool fan on a budget, it is a way to own a copy of the original without paying tons for a super nice copy, but would like to own one that plays well enough with no skips (on my player).
Outer Jacket - both tops and bottoms of both LP sleeves are completely or almost completely seam split. The frond cover doesn't look bad at all, with the parental sticker and a little ring wear. Back cover also has a little ring wear but not too bad.
Inner sleeves - The inner sleeve with the purple man on it is completely ripped in half and the back half without the purple man is not here. The other one with the Green eye and pics on the back is complete and intact but with seam splits and some creasing/minor rips.
Vinyl - all center labels are clean but have some spindle marks. Side A - there is a white spot (a pressing issue, not damage) with minor pops the first few seconds, intermittent pops/surface noise. Side B - Some surface noise and a couple pops. Side C - Some surface noise and a couple pops. Side D - big pops in the quiet portions, but then plays through well once the music gets going.
Again, the packaging is in bad shape, but the vinyl is playable without many problems - it's a heavy record so the surface noise isn't that much of an issue as if it was a chill classical LP or something.
