Toots & The Maytals Funky Kingston RARE Holland Press W/track Misprinted Labels. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
Great copy of the this Reggae classic with both track lists on labels misprinted. Toots originally released Funky Kingston as a different album in 1972/73 in only Jamaica and the UK on the Dragon Label with a different song lineup. In 1975 the more well known record with the same title and cover (only 3 tracks the same) was released worldwide on the Mango Label (part of Island Records). This early Holland pressing of the ‘75 release misprinted the tracks from the original Toots album on both sides of the label. The tracks on the back cover are the correct ones.
Cover is in VG+ condition. No creases or seam splits. Very little shelf ware. The lower left corner is slightly dented and there is a scratch on the lower right. There is also a mark on top right where a price sticker was taken off (please see pics).
The vinyl is very clean and has no scratches and almost no other surface marks. There is a piece of the blue label missing next to the hole on side 1. Plays beautifully! VG+ condition!!
