Original Soviet pressing on Мелодия (Melodiya) with the iconic hit “L’Italiano” and a full set of early Toto Cutugno favourites. In the 1980s this LP was one of the main ways listeners behind the Iron Curtain discovered Italian pop – поэтому именно эта пластинка до сих пор любима и коллекционерами, и теми, кто просто хочет послушать тёплый аналоговый звук.

Surface is clean and glossy with only very fine hairline marks, visible mainly under strong sunlight. No deep scratches, no feelable marks. Play-tested: plays excellent with only the lightest background noise in a few quiet moments typical for Melodiya pressings. No skips or jumps.
• Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Front and back artwork still bright and fully readable. No splits, no major creases. Light corner and edge wear from age, some small age spots and gentle shelf wear – all clearly shown in the photos. Overall a very nice example for a 1983 Soviet cover.
• Care & protection:
We treat every record with respect – even those that are not “mint”. This LP comes with a brand new inner sleeve for the vinyl and a fresh outer protective sleeve for the cover. All original printed elements that came with the album are kept inside.

Record from a carefully kept private family collection, now in the UK. Stored upright, away from sunlight and smoke. USSR Melodiya pressings like this one are loved for their unique mastering and for the special place they hold in the musical history of the 1980s – when Italian pop exploded in popularity across Eastern Europe.
