Toussaint McCall     "Nothing Takes The Place Of You"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Ronn LP 7527 from 1967.    This is a Mono issue.     This was his first album.     It is still in the original shrink wrap.     This has his only hit : "Nothing Takes The Place Of You", which reached # 5 on the Billboard R & B charts.

This album was produced by Scotty Moore.        The cover photography is by Bill Cowen.   

The songs are : I'll Do It For You, The Toussaint Shuffle, Nothing Takes The Place Of You, The Title Escapes Me, (I Left My Heart) In San Francisco, La Rea, Step By Step, Perhaps I Love You, Shimmy, I'm Undecided, All For A Love Like You, and Summertime.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M-

The cover is mint minus, with no writing and no seam splits.        It is still in the original shrink wrap.      There is small wear on the front at middle right, where the shrink wrap has folded back from the mouth.        The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.       The labels are clean with no spindle marks.       The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 10 ounces
