Description

ARTIST: Townes Van Zandt

TITLE: High, Low and In Between

LABEL: Poppy PYS-5700 1972 US Pressing

CONDITION: VG/NM

SLEEVE: VG, jacket has pronounced ringwear on front cover, some corner damage, some minor chipping at the spine and near opening. Overall this jacket is still intact and doesn't look too bad. Has a worn-in feel, just like the songs inside.

RECORD: NM, looks and plays wonderfully! I play-graded the LP and it's damn good. Also contains original Poppy label inner sleeve.

COMMENTS: The legend of Townes Van Zandt has been growing and growing over the years. Thanks to high praise from the likes of Steve Earle and others, and some nice vinyl reissues. But nothing beats the rare original vinyl, for both sound quality and historical artifact. These never really sold a lot in their day and have become increasingly rare and sought after. Oh and did I mention the songs are fantastic?? Truly inspired stuff from this genius songwriter. Check out my auctions for more rare TVZ!
