Description
This is Poppy Records PYS 40004, Townes Van Zandt Our Mother The Mountain, an original stereo promotional issue of this classic record. The record is visually in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. I'm pretty certain it had never been played or been played only once before I play graded it. The original uni-pack gate-fold cover has a promo stamp on the back (photo 6) and the glue has failed on the overlap on the inside (photo5) but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. Some contemporaneous articles and reviews collected by the original owner are included. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this rare original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
