Description
Original US Janus tan label stereo 1st press LP. The matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light ring & edge wear on the outer cover and a side split which has been repaired. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with no scratches or nasty marks, but there are a couple of needle marks & a few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings. Overall the record still retains its original sheen and looks great!! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, still a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; JLS-3012, A- mother stamper 5-1-70, B- mother stamper 5-1-70, This is one of earliest copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 US stereo 1st issue of this album!! All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, but everyones ears and decks are different, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
